Twelve questions, about two minutes, no email. In Ayurveda your constitution is the balance of three forces — Vata, Pitta and Kapha — and this quiz reports your proportions rather than crowning one.
That is not a hedge. The tradition itself holds that everyone carries all three and that most people are dual-dominant. A quiz that hands you a single word is telling a simpler story than the system it comes from.
Answer for how you have been most of your life, not how you have been this month. Ayurveda distinguishes your underlying constitution from your current state, and this quiz is aiming at the first.

How it works
Vata — air and space. Light, quick, changeable. Ideas arrive fast and leave fast, the cold is felt keenly, and energy comes in bursts. Unsettled by irregularity; routine is the classical counterweight.
Pitta — fire and water. Sharp, driven, warm. Strong appetite, strong opinions, runs hot in both senses under pressure. Aggravated by heat and skipped meals; cooling and restraint are the counterweight.
Kapha — earth and water. Steady, solid, slow to move. Good stamina once going and a calm others lean on. Weighed down by inertia; movement and stimulation are the counterweight.
Ayurveda separates prakriti, the constitution you were born with, from vikriti, your state right now. The questions here aim at the first, which is why they ask about lifelong patterns rather than this week.
Honest limits
This is not medical advice and not a diagnosis. Ayurveda is a traditional system with a long history, not a clinical instrument, and nothing here should be used to make a decision about your health. If something about your body concerns you, see a doctor rather than a quiz.
It has not been validated. Researchers have built structured prakriti inventories and tested them against modern measures, but no dosha questionnaire has the standing of a psychometric instrument, and this one is our own twelve questions rather than any of those.
Self-description is the whole input. You are answering about your own body and temperament, which means the result reflects how you see yourself as much as how you are.
Taken as a description of temperament and physical tendency — which is how we use it — it is genuinely useful. Taken as a health verdict, it is not.
A dosha describes the tempo you run at. Personality describes how you think; attachment describes what you do when closeness is uncertain. The interesting part is usually where they meet — a Pitta constitution beside high emotional reactivity is a different life from the same constitution beside a steady one.
